The lawn year in west Alabama.
Published because the single most common thing a customer says in July is that they did not know February mattered. The month you are in is marked.

Dormant. Beds, gutters, and anything that needs cutting back.

Pre-emergent goes down. Miss this and you fight weeds until July.

First cuts, edges reset, mower blades sharpened.

Weekly mowing starts and does not stop until October.

Weekly, plus mulch in the beds while it is still cool enough.

Weekly. Cutting height goes up so the grass shades its own roots.

Weekly, and I check what your irrigation is actually doing.

Weekly. The hardest month on a lawn and the one people give up in.

Weekly, and fescue gets overseeded at the end of it.

Leaves begin. Visits stretch to every ten days.

Leaf cleanup, twice, because once is never enough.

Final cleanup and the gutters, before the needles set.
Why the price is a season, not a cut
Four visits in April cost the same as four in August, but they are not the same work. April is growth you are keeping ahead of. August is heat you are nursing something through. The flat weekly price is how that averages out, and it is why I quote a season rather than a visit.
If you only want the summer, I will do the summer. It costs the same per visit and the lawn will look worse in March, and I would rather say that now than in March.
