Green Line Lawn & Landscape

What I do, and what I will tell you to do yourself.

Five things properly rather than fifteen badly. Anything not on this list I will give you a name for.

Weekly mowing

Cut at the right height for the month, trimmed, edged, and blown clean. Same day every week so you can plan around it. The height goes up in June and down in October, which is most of the difference between a lawn that holds through August and one that does not.

$45quarter acre

Leaf cleanup

Two visits in November, because after one the trees are not finished. Beds cleared, gutters cleared, and the leaves hauled off rather than blown into the road for somebody else.

$180per visit

Beds, mulch, and edging

A cut edge, the beds weeded out, and mulch laid at three inches. Done once in spring this is what makes a yard look kept rather than merely cut.

$340typical

Pre-emergent and overseeding

Pre-emergent in February, fescue overseeded at the end of September. Two visits a year that decide what your lawn looks like for the other fifty weeks.

$95per application

Gutters

Only for customers I already mow, and only on a single storey. I am not a roofer and I will not pretend to be one on a two storey house.

$110with a cleanup

What I will tell you to do yourself

Watering. Nobody needs to pay me to move a sprinkler, and you will do it better because you are there every day. Deep and twice a week beats shallow and daily, and the best time is before seven in the morning.

Also anything involving a tree taller than the house. That is a climber with insurance, and it is not me.

What I will not do

Blanket weed spraying on a schedule whether it needs it or not, which is how most lawn companies make their margin. I will spot-treat what is actually there and tell you what it is.

Hardscaping, retaining walls, irrigation installs, and tree removal. I know who is good at each of those in town and I will hand you the name without a finder's fee attached to it.

Sample design, Business tier. Green Line Lawn & Landscape does not exist. This page was built by Ben Miller at Druid City Sites to show what four to six pages buys, and what a seasonal trade looks like when the quote form is treated as the point of the page rather than as the thing at the bottom of it. The month marked on the year strip comes from your clock. See the prices or text me about your own.
